thats what you have to do to good skillful players. close them down quickly. if you cant do that then you open space and chances for them to score or create chances. that is why when players like ronaldinho get the ball, he is closed down very quickly by defenders or the opposing team.
its not ridiculous. its football. his team cant do anything. it just means he has to have quick touches and his defenders probably have to give him space to pass and make sure he can do some magic.
what makes him good is that he has that ability to get away from 10 defenders. so its not a problem i think. its about how you use your chances and make them. if the other team has you closed down, then that is brilliant defending. its not ridiculous.
liverpool deserved to win. barcelona did play better football. there is no doubt about that. but its no point in scoring and doing fancy things and all if you cant defend. that is what liverpool did, they defended and took their chances. now its tough at anfield.
