Yes, both parties will employ dirty tricks to gain power. This is what America's elections have come to. The answer to the second part of your question is that Americans can be deceived numerous times because a sucker is born every minute. Most Americans are not properly informed on politics, international affairs and so on. They know all about Smith and her baby. Serial rapists, child molesters, dope dealers, deputies on the Southern border, etc. Give them a good dirty story and they will forget all about who is running for president.

Yes, yes, and most definitely no. The American people have seen this character assassination act before and I don't think they're standing around like turkeys with their mouths upturned to the pouring sky willing to drown for baseless rhetoric anymore. It's already started. They're pulling out all the old Clinton crap that was never proved in a decade of desperately trying to do so. But they'll sure act like it's all fact, just like they always have. So far, just on Yahoo, I've seen umpteen questions and answers regarding Sen. Clinton where people have called her a lesbian, a murderer, a socialist (my personal favorite), and a lover of terrorists. It's just beginning, wait until they really get wound up. The closer to the election it gets and the closer Sen. Clinton gets to the Oval Office, the bigger the lies will get till the character assassination hits an all time crescendo. After the experience of George Bush, I think a majority of this country isn't going to take the word of Republicans on anything for a very long time, including their take on Hillary Clinton.

What "dirty tricks" are you referring to? Kerry put his own foot in his mouth more than once and we just reminded people to notice. That's not "dirty tricks"; it's truth. I know you democrats have a hard time telling the two apart. How Kerry is a Senator is because of his own "dirty tricks." The dems of Massachusetts might not get this, having been blinded by years of Kennedys, but the rest of us aren't so foolish.

Yeah, no doubt about that. They took a war hero and made a sap out of him while at the same time they left the guy who was awol for a year, off scott free. And, the public will buy into it as they did with Kerry. I would say that Ann Coulter and that bunch have already hired a bunch of ex CIA and FBI agents to dig up any dirt they can manufacture. And if they can't find some, they will make some. You can be sure of this.

I expect cons will use the exactly the same sort of dirty tricks against Hillary that they used against Kerry - such as holding her accountable for unethical things she's done and said in her past. Cons have this slimey habit of using the truth to make democrats look bad.
