i live in san franciso, california while my boyfriend lives in chicago. we have been talking for about 6 months now. but the phone bill is always the problem... for the past few months i've always paid a lot on my bills. i mean super like $1000 a month. so my parents took my phone away from me yesterday. i'm so exhausted... how can i talk to him if i don't even have a phone anymore? :( and online chatting is not enough for us. can anybody help me with this? pleaseeee

I live in South Carolina and have Bell South service. I pay $25 a month extra for unlimited long distance service. Believe me when I say I use more than $25. I moved here from VA almost a year ago and it's nice to be able to call friends when I want to.
I also think you can get cell phones where you can call after a certain time in the evening unlimited and unlimited on weekends. You need to research your options in your area and he needs to do the same.

In my area they have companies with unlimited local and long distance calling. Try and see if there is one in your area.

try email, swich phone companys, go to a friends house, try on your cell phone after 7pm for unlimited minutes. hope you r still together! :]
