I know two people, neither especially close.
I am not sure why the first killed himself though I thhink he may have been a homosexual and have found this difficult. I could not have stopped it as I didn't know him that well.
The second was an aunt who had for a long period suffered from bi-polar depression. I believe that she ended her life because she found existance unbearable. I did not live near her and could not have affected her decision.

Yes, he was in the military and was into some heavy drugs. He got caught up in that lifestyle and began to hate himself. Next thing I know, I get a phone call from Germany telling me that Steve shot himself in the head.
He was a really good friend of mine and there was no way for me to prevent his death.
It shook me to hear the news of his death. It's been six years now and I still find it hard to believe that he put himself in such a vulnerable position.

My uncle because my grandpa wouldn't give him the keys to his car so he could buy drugs. Nothing I could do, or anyone else for that matter.
