I'm not sure they would,but since that is not the case we would have to ask them if they would like that,if it was ever to happen.

Like the other muslim dictatorships, the mullahs in Iran resent anything that goes outside the little envelope that islam likes to keep its people in. There is no US run puppet government next to Iran. Your snide, idiotic remark negates any point you may have intended.

The people of Iran like this, but Ahmadinejad and his friends don't. Or maybe they do because it will give them the chance to start a major conflict and maybe activate the Hidden Mahdi.

The Iranians like a U.S. puppet on their border about as much as they like the three carrier groups off their coast and the quarter million or so U.S. troops on their border.

I know they don't like having a functioning democracy where the government officials are elected by the people. That's the biggest threat to their power. That's why they are providing aid to the ist who are targeting civilians in Iraq and trying to stir up religios hatred.
