how to make a balloon arch with air balloons?

from what ive seen before all the people did was they had gathered 4 or 5 balloons and build up into a line of them by using string and then just making an arch with the balloons.

well it like a dall rod from the lumber store but its made of plastic and you blow up the balloons then with the rod stick in the end where you just tied should be a little bit then start loading up the rod like a kabob the somehow hook it to the wall for the arch or if you cant find that you could always use doublesidded tape and tame the balloons around the door way after you blow them up just a couple of ideas.

if you're doing it yourself, you can blow up a whole lot of baloons, then tie them together using the same string. it's kind of difficult, but it works,,, the problem is, you need to put helium in the ones in the middle if it's not going to be supported by anything, like a brace of some kind. then, make sure you anchor the ends so that it doesn't float away. :P

for my cousin's baby shower we did big butterflys all over the whole house, we bought them at a party store, and stuck them to everything. then, we played the paperclip game (everyone has a paperclip, and you have to go the whole party without saying the word 'baby', or crossing your legs. if you get caught doing either of the two, you have to give the person that caught you your paper clip. the person with all the paper clips at a certain point in the day wins the prize.) we did baby ice cubes too... it was fun, you get ice cube trays and fill them up with water (died pink or blue depending...) and then put a tiny plastic baby in each cube. then you float one in each person's cup. the first one to be 'born' got a prize, all the ice melts away. we also did the baby poop game.... you go and buy a package of premie diapers, or fold your own out of paper napkins, and with one or two of them, you smoosh some peanut butter in it, and then wrap them all up like used diapers. pass them out, and the person (s) that get the baby poop wins a prize.
