Simon Cowell was a co-creator of the Teletubbies. They tanked, and the show was riddled with rumors of "homosexuality overtones" while on TV.

I guess he had something to do with creating and/or promoting the Teletubbies. I never knew that until Chris said it last night.

Simon told him that it sounded like a performance at a kid's show (something like that.) So, the dude was saying that Simon shouldn't be mad at him for not dressing up like teletubbies (aka, the "kid show.")
