My friend is going to get her belly button pierced this weeknd and i am trying to convince her not to. can you tell me some bad things about it?

first of all think about what you are asking people to do...its your friends body...to do whatever she wants to do with it...not yours. however, if this was a matter of safety...as in you are lookin out for her...then help her find a highlly reputable piercing studio...be a friend and support her.

I have minds pierced and I love it too! It didn't hurt for me at all because she numbed it.
well the bad stuff is... if she doesn;t take care of it, it can get infected and "puss" will start coming out. It'll look DISGUSTING, I saw some girls with hers infected.
If she doesn't want it anymore, it'll leave a scar.
Your stomache gets bloted for a week or so.
In serious conditions, you can die from it if it won't stop bleeding a little blood is normal.
It gets caught in some clothing and sometimes hurts like a B@#$%
Her parents will find out and she'll get in trouble?

tell her she shouldn't get her belly button pierced it will never go away and it will not look good if when she wears shirts that are to tight it will make her belly button feel horrible and what will others think. if she cares do you re best good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. ask her why she is doing it and if she says to be different tell her ain't nothing different bout dat at all a lot of other people have it.

Well...if you don't take care of the piercing...cleaning, no tight clothing, and not bending over then it will get infected and you can be in pain. However, you really can't change anyone's mind on what they want to do to their own bodies. It's not really that bad if you take care of it and you have a flat stomach. It's actually pretty cute! I have one and I have no problems with it!

I got mine done like 2 years ago. I still like it... The only thing that i don't like is that i can't take it out anymore or it will leave a scar! But i really like it so no need to take it out... Unless i get preagnant! and not happening soon jaja!

It makes your skin darker, around the bellybutton area and it looks very disgusting. Also it could cause an infection, pus all over the place, ver nasty.

you can get serious stomach viruses and infections that can later develop into forms of cancer. and it hurts
