First of all I would like to say that I went to my university's health service clinic today, but all they did was give me a pregnancy test. I have an appointment with my regular doctor at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, so please do not put "SEE A DOCTOR" or anything like that as your answer. I'm just curious as to whether anyone else has had these symptoms before and what their diagnosis was.

I woke up around 4:00 a.m. today with SEVERE stomach pain... probably the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. It was so bad that I had a hard time even sitting up or standing. About an hour later I felt nauseous and started throwing up. I was really sick for about two hours, then I went back to sleep. When I woke up a couple hours later, the constant stabbing pain was gone, but I have a sharp pain in my lower right abdomen every time I move, cough, etc. If I put any pressure on the right side of my stomach, it is really painful. I also have a fever of 100.1 degrees.

Has anyone had this before?

have you taken any antibiotics lately because sometimes there is a chance that the antibiotics kills the good bacteria in your stomach which causes the food to not be digested properly which gets stuck in your tummy and causes it to hurt
there is a small chance for this condition but it is certainly possible.
good luck and hope you feel better

It sounds to me like you have appendicitis. Did the pain start all around your lower abdomen and then localize to the lower right kind of near your bellybutton? If so and since you also have a fever I'm almost positive that it's appendicitis.

I would not wait until tomorrow to see the doc. The severe pain with the temp could be a sign of something serious. I would get this checked out at urgent care now before something serious happens during the middle of the night.

Its the activia yogurt for sure, did the same thing to me, its not worth the pain I would rather feel normal like I do every day than force that chit into myself, and suffer for days after. I thought I would try it out because I've got alot of time for yogurt, its my favorite. Except for Activia now. Thumbs down. Terrible stuff. There are entire forums dedicated to the bad reactions people have from it. Google it.

I have never had this before, but it does sound a bit like appendicitis. These are all symptoms you would see with an inflamed appendix.

You could have a ruptured appendix.
Sorry, I think you need to get to the ER before you have to be taken by ambulance.

Appendicitis is a distinct possibility.
