There is not enough information in your question for anyone to accurately answer your question. It depends on how your high school calculates your grades and what percentage is considered an A or 4.0. If your final average was a 90% and your school considers that an A your ok, many schools use 92 or 93% as an A.

I can tell you that a 4.0 can ONLY be achieved if all of your final averages are all A's. Only one B+ will make a 4.0 impossible, many graduate with 3.98 but few with 4.0!

You're using two different grading systems, and I am not sure if you mean 4.0 = the best possible grade. The university where I attended used a 5.0 scale.

I will assume you mean that 4.0 = "A" average. I will further assume you must have 93% or better to get an "A".

Another assumption is that you took 1/4 of your total classes during your freshman year.

93% x 4 = 372
If you get 100% in each of your sophomore, junior, and senior years, you will have 371 points; that is short of the minimum required to get a 4.0 average.

You blew it, but you can still end up with a decent average.

Hmmm... probably not. A 4.0 implies that you've gotten perfect scores all four years. But you might want to ask your school if taking advanced placement courses will help raise your average. Often those classes carry more "weight" in grading.

No i am sorry to inform you that it will be impossiable for you to recieve a 4.0. Being lazy your Freshman year pulled you down so you might het close but not get it.

it could be possible to get a 4.0 when you graduate but that means you have to get like all A's in all your classes

It is possible, as long as your final grades are all A's. You will have to work your *** off though.

it is possible. it will happen if you are determined to do it and keep your mind off distracting things. though if you hit junior, it's impossible. so you just barely made it
