Can you help me?
Transformation in the real world.
a) Where do you see examples of translation?
b) Where do you see examples of reflection?
c) How are these transformations alike?
d) How can coordinate grids be used to illustrate these differences and similarities?

For a)
I know elevator, conveyor belt
For b)
I knoe mirror, lake
For c)
I know they are congruent
For d)
I didn't get it

I need you answers. Please help me. I know I don't have all the answers. What do you think?

These are my modest thoughts on the subject

A) A translation have to do with mapping from one system of coordinates onto another. For example a rectangular grid projected unto a spherical, cylindrical or a rectangular surface under a different plane then the original.

B) I agree

C) Both of them are projections from one surface onto another.

D) Yes. Some angles and proportions will be preserved as well as the relations between different aspects of the original object and projected object. If you are standing before a mirror it may distort the original image if its surface is not flat, however the relationship will be preserved and hopefully your face will be above your feet ;-).
