Prayer, church. I've tried it and I just don't feel him. And honestly, I think that God isn't feeling me either.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

For all of those who answered - God hasn't forgotten about any of you! You are each His children. Continue to pray and ask Him to help lead you to being closer to Him. If you read the bible, such as the book of Job you will find that some of the holiest prophets felt the same. Even Jesus said, "My God, My God why did you abandon me?" Mark 15:34 and we know how much God loves his only begotten son. And, how much he loves us that he would sacrifice his son to save us from our sins.
I will be praying for you!
By the way, to the person who said their is no proof of Jesus - if you meant historically - there is absolutely historical proof that Jesus lived.
One other thought - remember the poem Footsteps:

I hate to say this but be patient. He is listening. You have to be still and be quiet. After you've prayed, just try sitting quietly and meditate on Him. That's when I feel Him with me. Also, you probably DO already feel Him but don't realize it. I see God all the time in small signs throughout my day. He IS there and He IS feeling you. Trust Him. What you read in your Bible is not wrong.

We all feel like that sometimes but don't let your faith stray. If you truly had a sign from God or if He really spoke to you it would freak you out. He is there but in ways we just can't see or hear all the time . It's tough but we just need to have patience and faith.

That happens to the best of us. Do you have the desire to have God in your life? Some people think they do, but aren't really willing to believe and give themselves to Him. You must be willing to do that. Keep praying, seek silence and solitude so you can do it quietly, and ask Him to help you and hold you up.
Life as a Christian isn't without sorrow. In fact, we suffer a lot- its written that we will- but keep faith. There's a reason for it all!

How can someone correct something you're feeling.. Perhaps you just haven't found the right church or group to join.. Or maybe you just need to take time out to figure out what you want

I went through a period where I just couldn't find god anywhere in my life. I felt so alone. After that period ended though I realized that he was there but I think he wanted me to know that I could make it on my own. Keep praying, and keep asking for his guidance. He's there you just don't realize it right now.

same here. and honestly, i dont believe anymore...i still go to church and i am participating in lent, but i just can't bring myself to believing. i think its because i need scientific proof that there is a "god." there is no actual proof god or jesus....
maybe or maybe not in a couple years i will feel differently about "god"

You don't feel God because He is carrying you now! Why not redirect this question to religion and spirituality? I think someone there can give you better answers. God Bless You!

Listen to yourself stop it where do you come from besides your mom and how brought her mother and your mother's mom and soon on God is the only explaining trued God is listening watching I mean just belive for he still loves you just because their is no responce doesn't mean anything. just wait he is there you will see he is truely a great person.

it's because you aren't looking.
God is everywhere, he is in the beauty of a rose, a baby's smile, the rays of sun, the smell of rain, the orange dusk of night and look in the mirror. He is in you too.
He is love, forgiveness, compassion and sometimes he is the one who gives us a gentle push in the right direction when we feel lost.
Open your eyes, God just isn't in church...he is everywhere and he is in you...just listen to his voice.
