This is as close to free as you will get. This is not one of those survey sites where you have to fill out billions of questions to get stuff.

Go to this link: http://www.notebooks4free.com/default.aspx?r=712126

select which laptop you want (or they also offer cash). Give them your info to sign up. (this requires giving them a valid email, they do not use it or sell it for spam). This is a valid company in the marketing business. Next sign up for a product or service from their list of companies (this is where they make their money marketing their client companies). I chose to sign up for a free trial then canceled before the trial period was over, thus costing me nothing. After that, the only thing left to do is refer others to the site to do the same (this is a small amount of work for you, which is why it can't be considered to be completely free). They provide you with a link, like the one I have above, that you will need to get people to follow to the site to sign up just as you have. Once you are all signed up you can log on and check your referral progress at any time.

There are many sites "offering" free computers. Just do a search. The chance of ever getting one is probably 1 in 1000.
