If you could break down by positions that would be greta. I know a good amount about my team but i am looking for input. (12 team H2H league)
C - Victor Martinez
1b - A. Pujols
2b - Fred Sanchez
3b - Bill Hall
SS - Carlos Guillen
OF - Carlos Lee, Corey Patterson, Rocco Baldelli
Util - Mark Teixera
BN - Melvin Mora, Brian Giles, Jim Edmonds
SP - Carlos Zambrano, Roger Clemens,
RP - Adam Wainwright, Joe Borowski
P - Mike Mussina, Rich Harden, Derek Lowe
BN - Dave Bush, Scott Olsen
I want to see what happens with the rocket before i deal him. I was thinking with V. Martinez, Pujols, and Teixera, i can afford to trade a good 1B guy for an OF, I think my outfield is kinda weak. What do you guys all think!?!?!

vmart fell last year, and based on all predictions, it is likely he might fall even harder this year rather then rebound. obviously pujols is a stud at first. At second Sanchez is weak, but so are most 2B so it will probably not end up hurting you. Hall and Guillen are both fairly good choices. But I agree that your outfield is weak but remember, just because a player is playing in the outfield doesnt mean he gives you different stats then guys in other positions. Dont downgrade just to have positional balance, but rather trade to have statistical balance.
THe main thing that worries me about your team is that you only have one closer. Borrowski has the gig in cleveland but he still wont give you enough saves to win that catagory. Ace closers also beat starters in every catagory besides wins so I would trade some starters to get a good amount of closers. Peppelbon could come cheap now that he is a so-called starter but my bet is hell move back to the pen soon enough. Akinori Otsuka also might be available and if he is definately grab him. While he is just the set-up man right now in Texas, Gagne seems like he has a high-injury chance so Otsuka (who proved last year he is a stud) could very well get the gig. I would first look to trade Lowe because while he is a decent pitcher, his fantasy value is low. Bush has been pegged by many sights as a sleeper so some teams might want him and pay a high price. Wickman on the braves could be worth going after. He did good on the braves last year and if the braves are winning he could be a cheap chance at a lot of saves. For more closers you might be able to get off the waiver wire who have a good chance of becoming the main guy, go to this link. http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/baseball/flb/story?page=talentedmrroto1

Adam Wainwright is supposably going to start this year, and Borowski is no good. So your giving up saves - of course the caveat is that there are always waiver closers available.
Worthless drafting Clemens, he won't be back for months, he even recently said he's leaning towards retirement.
You have a pretty good lineup, I'm not sold on Sanchez having another year like last, Bill Hall is great.

You OF looks ok. Lee will bring the power and patterson will bring the SB's. You really should look into another closer. B/C, I live in Stl and Wainwright is starting this year. I would look into the free agent wire before I traded for one though. The price will be too high and closers are always "iffy". But if your looking for another OF, try trading Teixera for Grady Sizemore or Ichiro.

Why did you draft so early? I'm getting excited for the baseball season too, but you run the risk of an injury early in spring training. Other than that your team looks well balanced. I'm not going to comment on the Roger Clemens pickup; thats like drafting Bonds because he'll break a record; too old.

your fine... is this a public league team how many people are in your league personally I believe you should start melvin mora over bill hall. Also does Pujols play the Out field? if he does put him in for baldelli and move giles into the out field i believe he will have a better year this year, although it seems he has been on the decline its just a hunch.

Definitely get a proven closer, i thik you offense is awesome if Teixera does good. Not sure about the outfield though, unfamiliar with Baldelli and Patterson and what they can do.

I give that team a capital S for STACKED. Your team is wicked good. Move Edmonds into Patterson's position that would be a good team. Don't trade before season or spring training.

Great offense! Relief pitchers are hurting a little bit, but chances are you'll clean house with that firepower.
Look for Mora and Edmonds to bounce back this year. I think you need another solid closer to make your team enviable.
