a) Where do you see examples of translation?
b) Where do you see examples of reflection?
c) How are these transformations alike?
d) How can coordinate grids be used to illustrate these differences and similarities?

I know elevator, conveyor belt
For b)
I knoe mirror, lake
For c)
I know they are congruent
For d)
I didn't get it

Transformation in the real world. Hmmm...
Okay imagine you are staying at place A( you could describe A's position by some deg latitude and longitude) and your image is seen at place B(through T.V or something like that). B could also be described by some deg latitude and longitude
1) Translation: You travel from place A to place B.
2) Reflection: Your image is seen at place B through T.V. You seem to have travelled from place A to place B without actually travelling.
3)These transformations could be alike in a way that "You are seen at B in both the cases"
4)Make use of longitude and latitude to describe your position at A or when you are at position B. That will illustrate difference between the two. Similarity is already described in (3)
