do baby's in the womb have big or different noses then when they are born?

I went for my ultra sound of 31 weeks to see my baby girl and her nose seemd large unlike mine and her dad's. it was a 4d ultra sound. I googled other ultra sounds to see if the other baby's had the same kind of nose and it looked like they did.I just want to know what you"re childs nose looked like? My baby was beautiful.

(i would love and think my baby is pretty even if she had an ear for a nose . I just want to know if it is normal)

My sons ultra sound looked like he had a duck bill for a mouth!!

My husband has kinda big lips and I was silently horrified that my baby was gonna be this giant beaked monster!!

By the looks of the ultra sound he just had these enormous lips...lol

Well he was born...and no...they are normal sized perfectly cute little baby lips...no worries mamma...

Look at it this way, tape a picture of someone on to the bottom of the inside of a bucket....then fill it up with water ....how clear is that picture gonna be? Then go ahead and add in the fact that it's black and white and all grainy and that it's not even a picture it's a soundwave interpretation .....now how clear is that supposed to be??

I'm sure your baby's nose is perfectly normal and you have nothing to worry about...however if it is causing you undue stress, you can always invest about a hundred bucks and get a 4D ultrasound...that way you'll have an actual picture of that little honker before she even gets here!

It's not a murder, in my opinion, though I can see why you would view it like that. To me, the baby isn't conscious yet, especially when it's so small. They're not aborting full-grown babies. That being said, the parents probably had good reason not to raise the child - due to financial issues, abusive/drunk/incapable parents, etc... accidents happen, and you must see the reality of that. In some cases, the child really would be better off unborn than live a life of poverty and suffering. Also, some young potential parents aren't ready to have children yet; that's a legit reason to get an abortion. My own opinion as to why I'm pro-choice: As well as that stated above, the world is overcrowded and can't afford to continue growing at an exponential rate, so personally, I'm all for abortions. We need all the resources we can get to carry on life as we know it, and honestly we're depleting them faster than we can afford to, due to overpopulation. >> Question: Where are you pulling your stats from about rape, darlin? There's an overwhelming percentage of women who are too ashamed to even ADMIT being raped, so don't cancel out the possibility quite yet =\ ------------- Also... it's illegal to abort after a certain phase of development. Please do some research.

I thought my son's nose looked large when I saw it on regular ultrasound, and he turned out fine. I was actually a little concerned, since there are some DISTINGUISHED noses in my family. ; )

A funny thing was that when he was born, I felt like I recognized him already, just from having seen that nose.

Your baby will be beautiful...Some of the smaller features on the baby look larger with an ultrasound, especially 3D...Her nose is just a protrusion, you will be surprised how beautiful and perfect your baby is going to be..congratulations...
