Unemployment is at almost record lows. The DOW is at record highs. Food is plentiful and cheap. Gas is plentiful and, yes, cheap. Electricity is plentiful and cheap. There is boundless forms of entertainment, either through TV, movies, concerts, plays, sports. There is no civil strife, (except politically) that threatens anybody's life. Disease is almost nonexistent. After 20 years on hiatus, cars are good looking again. If you were in trouble, you have family, friends, and even neighbors that would help you. There were at least 500 people who risked their lives and all of their money to come to the USA today, legally and otherwise.
It's just not too bad here.

1) Our freedom, 2) our generosity, no one else comes close when there's and natural or even man disaster with the amount of help we give,3) our desire to help those that need it, even if they just can't be bothered to do it themselves because they know we'll do it for them. ( and then call us stupid for the effort ),4) the ability to make a better life for yourself ( although this seems to be being taken from us right now ), 5) The ability to say and do what you want ( within limits ).
All the bad you hear is a deliberate, political, effort because the only way they can elevate themselves is by destroying us.

Read the book by Dinesh D'Sousa called "What's So Great About America". Awesome book. We are simply the greatest country on the planet because of our freedom. No other country has the economic clout that we have, and it's due to our freedom.

in 2 years the american electorate will be vividly reminded of travelgate, filegate, whitewater, the health care fiasco, the vince foster coverup, the largest tax increase in us history, the largest campaign finance fraud in us history, etc, and will finally be able to cap the fifteen minutes of fame the clinton legacy has had for the past sixteen years. thats the best political news ive heard in two decades.

It's spring, I hope it stays. The weather is great, there is much to do, fishing, picnicing. You must be seeing all the doom and gloomers that have no life. Broadway shows, night clubbing, going to the beach with friends, comedy clubs. So much I can not begin to list it here.

Anyone can make anything they want of themselves.
We have the freedom to say anything we want.
We have the freedom to practice any religion.
We have the best military
I could go on and on, but I'm typing too much.

they are great people, its a nice place to live and on the whole really know how to run things..................for instance the bin men come NO MATTER what day it is........the post office people actually seem to enjoy their jobs..............not having to pack your own bags at a grocery store.........having some one take your bags to the car.............its all the little stuff that REALLY adds up to it being a nice place to live period.
