Medical school is 4 years regardless of the specialty. However the residency differs. Usually its 3-4 years for GENERAL pediatrics. To speialize in neonatal care, pediatric surgery, etc. then its 5-6.

The great one is right in the educational requirements. A little optimistic in regards to salary. My friend wishes $200K were easy as a pediatrician. His wife wouldn't have to work and I'd be making him pay for dinners. hehehe
