It depends.
If you go to a college far away from your hometown or out of state , its kinda hard to hang out with them. Or you can talk to them by phone, e-mail, or instant message.
If you go to a college that is like 30-60mins away from home and sometimes come home and visit like 2 weekends a month, then you can still see your old friends.

Both my husband and I keep in remote contact with friends from HS. We used to hang out quite a bit while we were still in college, but after college graduation, everyone kind of went their own way (I am more than 1000 miles from where I grew up). So, no, we usually hang out more with work friends now.

Most of my friends today are friends from High School. In fact, I didn't make a lot of friends in college because I met a girl right away and we spent a lot of time with each other.
I certainly stayed in touch with HS friends during and after college.

Do you mean "when you leave FOR college?" If so...I hang out with a few. Not many!

No. We all went our seperate ways. But those dear friends from childhood are still there, all 2 of them. Life changes relationships.

I live in another state now. When I go back home I try to hook up with my old friends sometimes.
