Collect your dryer lint, put it in a cardboard egg carton and pour melted wax on it. After it hardens up cut it into indivual squares and it makes a great fire starter for your camp fire.
Hope this helps.

We burn candles alot and have had the same problem. My son told me to put all the jars in a big cooking pot like a pasta pot and make sure they are all open end up. Fill with the hottest tap water you have at least 3 inches above the tallest jar. Cover the pot and lt it sit a while. I put it out on the deck overnight. Usually the heat will melt the wax and it will all rise to the top. Sometimes its a one time deal, sometimes i have to drain and refiill the water. If you try to do it when its cool, take a small glass of ice cold water and pour it over the top of the wax. it will make it stiffen a bit and easy to handle. The wax will come out in a large circle. i pull that out and while soft, tear it into pieces. I use this on the fireplace ( wax increases flame) and it lets the scent out, or i will put it on the firepit outside. The wax is usually off and the jars are easy to clean. No waste at all !!!

If the candle wax smells. place them all together and go get a item that melts just wax, this will help get the smell throughout the room. But you can also melt all the wax and place a rope in the middle and lite another candle.

melt it down with other candle wax in a DISPOSABLE pie tin. you'll want to put water in a saucepan, then float the pie tin in the water, (you may want to shape it so it's deeper/fits in the pan, etc) turn on the heat and melt the wax. then pour it into something you want your candle to be in (make sure you have a wick (just some cotton string) in there first, centered. then hold the wick until the wax solidifies enough to let it go, Voila! you have a candle

I put the old (nonburnable) candle wax in mesh bags and place in my dresser drawers. It keeps everything smelling good.

You can make new candles. Check this link out for the directions on how to turn candle stubs and whatnot into new candles, fairly easily. http://candleandsoap.about.com/od/candlemakingbasics/ht/htrecycle1.htm
