Been happily married 16 yrs and for most of our married life my sex drive seemed higher then hubby's but for the last 3 to 4 months his sex drive has gotten higher and wants sex more then he use to..He said he wants me more and wants to make our sex life better and NO this isnt a problem and believe me im NOT complaining. I havent changed anything about myself i have always been full-figured but he met me this way, married me this way and it has never bothered him 1 bit..Just wondering what could have caused this wonderful and overdue change in him..We have no kids yet..He is 42 and NO he isnt taking viagra lol.

A clue is in your question / statement > He is on anti-depressants which have somewhat suppressed his desire < If there are any problems with his Blood Pressure, that can be a cause too. However, you don't state ages of either of you, so it's only guesswork here. It wold be a good idea for a talk with your family Doctor. On a personal note. I had a girlfriend who was something like being in your boat (the change of a drug regime), and personally, ''It was bloody scary'' ~ all that rampant female flesh and hormones ready to fire off at a moments notice. She could have taken on a football team, and THEN have been ready for me little ol' me. Sash.

This sounds to me like a kind of midlife crisis,he's realized that time is going by,he's getting older and he wants assurance that he can still perform. Some men buy sports cars or motorcycles or they find younger women or dye their hair, you are a lucky one, enjoy.

Is he less stressed than he used to be? That might help him feel more relaxed and affectionate and therefore wants more sex. Maybe not. Either way, go with it!

Maybe he has finally hit his sexual peak. Most men reach it before women, but maybe he is realizing that life is too short. Also, could mid-life crisis becoming into play???
