i'm not sure i would do anything differently because the choices i made and people i met influence who i am today. there's a part of me that wishes i could change something and make my life much better, but what if the thing i changed thinking it was better, only turned out to be much worse in the end?

I would hope I'd change a lot that I did in my life some things I'd like to have done contradict others. I would have stayed in school or if I did go into the Navy I would have gone to Woodstock rather than boot camp graduation, they were on the same week end. I would have done the whole peace, love, brother & sister, Hippie thing but hopefully without so many drugs at least. That way maybe I could remember it better.
I'm not sure if I would have made different mistakes or if I would have just made the same mistakes worse.

I wouldn't really change much, because every mistake I made taught me a lesson. If I could change something, I'd probably have payed attention better and tried harder in 8th grade. I chose to take algebra 1 over again my freshman year after already taking it in 8th grade, and now I wish I had just went to geometry because now I'm the smartest person in my sophomore year geometry class, which is way too easy. I also slacked off in advanced reading in 8th grade, so I was put in mainstream freshman english, which was too easy. I'm the type of person who loves being advanced, and because of my behavior in 8th grade, I probably won't get to take calculus my senior year, which I wanted to take because I love a challenge.

With these mistakes having been made already, I regret them, but I have realized that if I hadn't done what I've done already, I wouldn't of met the people I did my freshman year, and I wouldn't have the same memories, and I wouldn't have had a blast in my Spanish I class because the teacher had no control. I would've been a totally different person right now, had I done the right thing.

go back in time, and then come back?
in that case, I would only buy a lotto ticket with the wining numbers

now, go back in time and stay there, knowing what i know, i think i would make better choices in my life, although is tricky, for example, I went to 3 different colleges, before finishing a career, knowing what I know now, I would choose the right career, from the beginning, but that would mean, not getting to know my actual wife, so it is tricky

as rough as most of it was...if I were to change any of it..I would not have the beautiful family that I am blessed with today.and I wouldn't want that part of my life to go away...what occurred in my life time has shaped me into who I am now..the lessons I 've learned I can now pass on ,even in the work I do with abused women and children....I do wish I had paid more attention to personal issues..like when my mom was sick, and been more helpful to my sisters when they needed it.I was not a very 'aware' young girl...I live in the ''''now' ...now..and make every day count.

I try not to look in the past because I believe things happen for a reason. If you change one thing it could have a snowball effect on many other things, with the outcome maybe not one that you wanted.

I say it would be interesting to go back in time knowing what I know now, but in reality if I did go back and change certain things, it would change who I am now. And I'm pretty satisfied with who I am right now.
