Go to equipment rental rent a floor scraper, you'll be amazed on how well it works.......................It heats and scrapes at the same time...........

scraper works but its hard work, the heat gun works well but it takes too long. What is getting waterproofed? the walls or floor? If its the walls-remember this- it can ONLY be done right, from the outside. If it inside they're waterproofing, water will find a new spot.

ol' marc is right about your walls. if is isn't the floor thats getting waterproofed than use water on the tile let em' soak for a few hours. i'm not talking about flooding your basement or anything just get em' wet. you can also rent an electric scraper that does one hell of a job.

yes you can use a heat gun or a propane torch by slightly heating the tile and useing a scraper to lift them hope that helps

WASTE OF MONEY Dont do it. Have a firm that comes out and digs around house and installs new tiles at footer level to your sump pump.
