I really like this name for a girl but I worry that it is too masculine?

I like it a lot; I don't think it's masculine, especially with that spelling.

Personally, I love the name Camryn, but Spelled Kamryn. Camryn and Cameron are pronounced differently in my opinion, but it's not that big of a difference. I want to name my daughter Kamryn, but am also worried about the masculine/misspelled issues. I have heard of girls named Camryn. The girl that used to play Cassie on Y & R is named Camryn.

I'm not a fan of the name. But if you use the spelling Camryn and the pronunciation Cam-rynne, like Camryn Manheimm, then it doesn't look or sound masculine at all.
I don't like the spelling Cameron or pronunciation Came-er-on for a girl (Ms Diaz you know who you are) because both are masculine.

I think its too masculine. anything that can be for either a boy or a girl sounds masculine to me. the spelling my look feminine to people, but spelling has nothing to do with the way it sounds and when people hear her name, they wont see the spelling of it.

camryn is good for a girl.. it is like shannon, kelly casey jordan now it is getting to be a unisex name. But i think of a girl first.

I don't like it for three reasons.
1) People won't know how to spell it. Your daughter is going to have to spell it for people over and over again, forever.
2) It's too similar to Carmen, and she will get called that all the time.
2) It sounds like a car. As in, Toyota Camryn.

I like this name for a girl. I know a little girl that has this name and I think it is soooo cute. Sometimes I get jealous!! lol

My opinion is that Camryn is an exeptionally pretty name for a girl. Especially if she is pretty.
