(I don't mean roll over). I've heard of them sitting on shoulders for a while, and even saw a video of one that would leap into the air to grab crickets from a tweezers. I just recieved a young one and had the notion. I know they aren't known for their stunts, but I was wondering what was out there.

I know they can't LEARN to do tricks, I was wondering what fun/interesting thing your geckos have done.

For example, my gecko, Butiki, once chomped a cricket while the bug was in mid-flight, jumping. Sure, not amazing, but pretty sweet to see it squished in the air.

Yes they will sit on your shoulder for hours or jump for a cricket. I have several adult leos that are trained to walk on a leash and enjoy going to the park. Just don't use a heat rock in cage that you keep them in. it can short out or burn the leo. Yes you can use sand in the cage just use a calcium sand that way if they eat it it will be ok.

Leopard Geckos don't do "tricks".....if you want an animal that will do tricks, get a dog, lol. It's natural for Leos to use one corner of their cage as their bathroom.

Nope leo's cant learn to do "tricks". Them jumping up for food is just a natural feeding response. And old fat leo's are often content to sit on your shoulder for a long time.
Have fun with your new leo,
~Samuel
PS. Make sure you dont keep it on any kind of sand. Very easily can kill them. Use paper towel or tile.
