I'm tryin to figure out how to become more talkative because it's pretty boring not talking, but when I do talk I don't have anything intelligent to say. I'm not too shy or anything... I just can't think of anything to talk about 1 on 1 with people. Mainly 'people' being my gf (or GFs, actually. alot of girls like me till they find out I don't talk all that much) . I talk just as little around anyone else, but she isn't shy to admit that it's irritating i don't talk. I pretty much exhausted the topics on her life & mine... so I just need to learn to talk more, which means I actually need to have something to say. anyone have any idea's about what I should say? just in case it isnt obvious, I'm not grown up or anything. I'm 16 in highschool.

Souns like you need to get comfortable with silence. People don't have to talk every second they are together. Nothing is wrong with silence. Also if you cannot find anything you and your gf can talk about you either need to do more together so you have more topics to talk about or you're just not with someone you find interesting.

Read, read, read. In doing so, you get to have new ideas and then you can easily relate to what is being talked about or you can even start your own conversation based on what you have read.
