I get my period, but it's not actually my period. It's on a tiny bit of blood and it only last a few hours. Then about 2 weeks later I'll actually get my period. I'm 14 going on 15. Whats wrong with me?

Nothing is wrong with you. Think about it - your body is still growing and it is having to get used to changes in hormone levels - no wonder it hasn't settled down. Your body gets into it's own rhythm and if you note the beginning and end date of each period on a calendar for a few months (4 - 5 months) you will probably realise that there is a pattern - that is known as your "cycle". If you are still concerned, see your doctor - maybe you will feel more comfortable with a female doctor. Hope this helps.

Honey, nothing is wrong with you! Trust me, when you first get your period, it will be very abnormal. Strange things will happen down there, and you just have to wait a while before you really understand what's normal and what isn't. If it would still make you feel better, you can always ring up the doctor! <3

You may have to see a doctor, that kind of "break through" bleeding is not considered normal. Unless you are on a Birth Control that has a similar side effect such as the Nuva Ring, or Yaz, it could be a sign of something more serious. I personally have had the problem which turned out to be very serious. Not to scare you, but get it checked out.

periods arent normal the first few times you get them. they sometimes come and go for a few hours. talk to your doctor if you are worried.
also, if you have been playing sports or have been working out and you never have before, your period can become irregular.

It might be normal, but just in case, please talk to your mom about making an appt. for you to see your dr. about this. I don't recall having that happen with me, but it's been awhile since I was your age. Take care.
