I just wanted to know. I gratuated HS like 6 years ago, but it's always interesting to think about the lessons we learned through high school, and how much we adjusted to it all.

1- Don't get cocky with the upperclass men. Your a freshmen, you deserve to be treated like one. Earn your keep.

2- Don't slack off. You may think it's all fun and games now, but senior year when your friends graduate and your 1 credit short, it's going to suck.

Awe, the first year of hich school. A little terrifying at first but not as bad as you might think. Heres some tips:
-Know your school layout before hand so your not freaking out because you have no idea where you are or where your classes are on the first day
-Go in with some friends or people you can trust to have your back
-Don't be afraid to talk to new people and make new friends because they will stick with you for the rest of your high school years
-Join clubs or sports teams to meet new teachers and students to really feel like a part of the school
-The number one thing you can do is be yourself because your going to be at that school for a while and you want people to like you, or hate you, for who you really are,
Hope your high school experiences are all you imagined and more.

Don't fall for the "clicks"; the people who only like you for how much money your family has, whether or not you wear the right clothes and shoes, and all that other articificial junk. They'll drop you as soon as they find a new flavor of the week. Make good friends with good people, be yourself, and you'll find years down the road you'll still be able to call these people your friends, whereas you nor the "click" people will even be able to remember each others' names.

Have fun and make the most out of it.B/c when u become a sophmore you are going to just wish you could be a freshmen once again. Make great friends, because most likely these are the friends that you are going to have for the rest of high school, maybe even your life.

I know it feels scary but don't be scared! All the stories about upperclassman beating up freshamn aren't true. Just make the most of your freshman year because it's a load of fun... and have fun before you get to the hell of sophmore and junior year (the workload is craaazyyy). Good Luck!

basically, take classes seriously from the start. don't glide thru the first nine weeks, cuz it does get harder and u don't want to be working your butt of come winter exams. and be openminded. cliques really suck, and you want to have as many friends as possible, not just one little group that you hang out exclusively with. also, don't be fake, be yourself from the beginning because its hard to act for four years straight. but yeah, take classes that ur interested in, and take challenging academic classes as well (don't take classes that you know you'll never pass, but colleges want to see that you've tried) don't party to hard, you don't want a bad reputation, be nice to everyone. don't let other people get you down. good luck :)

keep in touch with your advisor. let them help you if anything comes up. go to tutoring at the first sign of any trouble in your classes - preferably, even before the first sign - that way, there won't be any trouble at all. Try to make friends with the older kids - they can help out - make sure you find your classes, etc.

Don't have sex and get knocked up like all of these other stupid teenagers. Don't be afraid to stand out. Be part of clubs!! Nobody remembers or cares once they graduate, so have fun!

Don't get stressed out over one or two tests remember its along journey and there will be plenty more opportunities to make it up, but this doesn't mean don't study.

Don't try to act like you're cooler than the upperclassmen because they WILL teach you a lesson.
