hmm well we're all different aren't we? I'm Mexican and very proud and I don't fit much of what the people here have said. Everybody is different, specially Mexicans since we have Mestizo blood. Me for example, I have blonde hair blue eyes and I'm very light skinned, I have my own style but it's always influenced by the Hip-Hop culture. My best friend is a Chicana, has dark brown hair, large hazel eyes, very nice dark skin and dresses very casual.
I'm very open-minded and have many aspirations, my morals and beliefs are shaped by my Christianity. I'm very respectful and I'm fun, I love to laugh and try new things. My best friend is very open, she's quiet but speaks her mind, she's funny, and sometimes scared to try new things.
We're all very different. It's sad to know that many people do listen to stereotypes and are close minded huh??

I think all chicanas/Latinas are diffrent especially If you are from a diffrent Culture, because Latina can be any girl from Latin American and a Chicana is a Mexican-American. Alot of White people have sterotypes on the Latina born in the US. Alot of them are bad Including the IDIOTS Named RV who likes to insult us, when they are just jealouse because they cant get a beautiful latina.

Well, if you are a "Chicana" like you say, then you know that Mexicans and Latinos in general come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. They dress the way they want to dress and listen to the music they want to listen to. Let's see....I'm 5'5", weigh around 110 pounds, black eyes, short black hair (it was down to my waist a few months ago, but I cut it...too darn hot), and very light-brown skin. In winter, I'm pretty white. I like listening to all kinds of music, it just depends on my mood. I'm an easy-going person, and like to dress casual (jeans and a cute top....I will wear dress up once in a while, say when I'm going out on a date with my boyfriend....I don't wear make-up, etc.).
