Not so good for recent games. Okay if you are an occasional gamer. I would suggest buying a >=x700 card instead.

It depends on the intended usage. For business use, any discrete videocard is better than the video that is built into some motherboards. But the 300 leve Radeons are not suitable as gaming videocards.

There are charts there that show how dozens of videocards stack up against each other.
