From previous questions it is clear that women, can, and do wear granny panties, though they may not admit it to their boyfriends... They are embarassed.
It is also clear that a large number of guys still wear briefs, citing comfort as a reason.
Should we just make a truce then, and let everyone wear whatever underwear they want? Sexy underwear are awesome of course, but do we really care what we wear to work, school, etc ?
Are guys more open to tolerating girls in granny panties, or girls tolerating their men in tighty whities?

As long as no one's going to see them, then I guess it doesn't really matter what you wear underneath. Just as long as they're clean! For girls, having a little more control might be necessary some times, and we can always change when the time is right. And hey, if guys want to wear tighty whiteys, go for it. They do seem like they'd be more comfortable and less "bunchy" than boxers.

Tightie whities are hilarious! I think moreso because they are white with the little yellow and blue stripe. I used to wear them! Now, I love really big riding on my hipbones granny underwear but cannot stand the word panties. I like my underwear to feel like they are not there.
I am thin, but I cannot stand the feeling of the elastic from underwear on my hips and cannot stand the way a thong feels. Anyone who says they are comfortable is a liar. If I wanted a wedgie, I'd teleport back to my childhood.
And those high-cut-in-the-rear-boyshorts? I can never tell if I have them on backwards!
My husband loves my granny skivs and he could wear a leopard g-string if he wanted to. He's a cutie no matter what. But once this jerk I was seeing in London made from of my granny thunderpants. He was just upset I was coming back to the US and took it out on my intimates.

Sexy women's underwear is getting more and more comfortable (blame it on a male-dominated culture, or whatever); more comfortable even then granny panties...So no truce! Guys, embrace the boxer, we may be able to make an exception for boxer-briefs (just for the time being *lol

I personally don't care what kind of underwear my man wears. Women who nit-pick at things like underwear are vicious control freaks and should focus on something important... like the relationship.

it only matters what kind of underwear ur wearing is when well when ur married it doesnt matter maybe when u don't care of the fact that u posted a ? 2 were tighty whites it was fine when noone knew now the whole world knows so yes now it does matter.

I've always felt this way. Let people wear whatever they want and whatever they feel most comfortable wearing (physically and/or psychologically).
