How do I get ballpoint ink removed from a yellow cotton sweater; hairspray didn't work?

Try rubbing alcohol on an obscure area of the sweater. If you see no adverse reactions you may proceed with care. Do NOT rub the spot...blot it from the outside of the area toward the center. If this fails, take it to a dry cleaner for advice or help. Good luck.

Make pen ink disappear cope with the stain by utilising first wetting it with some white vinegar, then rub in a paste of two components vinegar to 3 components cornstarch. enable the paste thoroughly dry in the previous washing the object. or you need to use, Rubbing alcohol, basically pour directly to a white textile and then dab the ink stain until eventually that's lightened, do no longer rub! while stain has lightened you could do away with something with undiluted White Vinegar then rinse out with heat water, then wash as known. sturdy luck !
