I think he's ok.
He's an Elliott fan. In his introduction video on americanidol.com he said that he has never watched a full episode of Idol and that his parents are huge fans. One day he was washing the dishes and his parents were watching the show and he heard a voice comming from the living room. It was Elliott's voice. He thought his voice was amazing .
I thought that was cool.

None of the guys were really outstanding last night. I hope the girls do better tonight. Hopefully next week the guys might get their act together but so far none of them have been real impressive or stood out from the crowd.

I can't associate the names with the faces yet, so I'm not sure who Jared Cotter is. My favorite was the guy who missed the birth of his second daughter to audition for American Idol (He reminded me of Chris Doughtry). I also like the guy who sang the song Bo Bice did about being a prison guards son and the heavy guy with the big hair.
I really liked Elliot too. I think that Elliot could sing like a bird and he wasn't a phony . I hope he landed a huge contract somewhere and will make it big. He deserves some good luck.

I agree with him that Elliot has an amazing voice! As to whether or not I think he is good I couldn’t say. I was too distracted by how much he looked like my friend to listen to him sing.
