I would be a willow, for i could dance with the slightest of breezes, and bow with the force of the wind too. I would be a safe harbor to man, in the heat of the day, and heaven for the birds and their little ones. Yes, a willow, next to the refreshing water of a pond.

Hardwood wood or soft? Good question. My manner is of a softwood, but in times of trouble I find myself able to take the situation as well as any hardwood. So where would I like to live? Not in a park where things are kept so well. Struggling produces character. Maybe a pine on the coast of Oregon all weathered, and tattered dreaming of being a palm tanning in the sun.

Oak? No, not really...I would be a Weeping Willow and my long willowy branchs and leaves would whisper lullabys and give off a waft of cooling breeze to comfort you.

i would be a banyan tree. With all those roots I'd feel very
stable and I think people would enjoy looking at me and my
Spanish moss. :)

Weeping Willow, firm, flexible, shade-providing, and possessing deep roots. Beautiful & in no way wimpy!
