I think all people have a curiosity about death. I think that's why I'm going to be cremated so no one can display me. ~~~

No. Understanding our past is vital for our future, and it's human nature to do discover that past. It teaches us about our ancestors and our history. It teaches us the mistakes they made, and which social pitfalls we should avoid. Having it all available for everyone to see is important. Better an artifact be safely in a museum than broken or destroyed.
In another few hundred years, somebody will be digging up remains of our lives. That's why people bury time capsules.

Not particularly wrong. That's just the way it is. Most mummies were destroyed, at least these remains have a resting place and are respected. The essence of the person is gone so the final disposition of the corpse is irrelevant.

Yes and no. I say yes because I do not want someone to dig up my grandparents and stick them in a museum to make money. I say no because acient Egyptian history is my favorite period in time, and I love to learn about their culture.

Yes. Because as technology improves, we will develop better ways of preserving them. Right now they decay faster in museums then if they were left in the ground.

My personal opinion is that we could display their sarcophagus and other items without the body and still provide an informational and entertaining display.
I think that once you're dead that the living can honor your memory by giving you a decent burial, and leave you where you lay.

I don't know if it's wrong, but it's definitely wierd. I guess historians want to study the past, but digging up bodies and disecting them is rediculous. I'm not sure if it's ethical...or moral. It's wierd.
