And if you're in school now, do you like it?

Why or why not?

I loved school. I can never understand people who don't. I mean learning is the best experience there is in life and I suppose it's all about how you see yourself and the people around you. If I could be in school forever or work forever, no contest, it would be school.

I guess I'm one of those people who just always seeks knowledge. You can learn many things without being in school and it's beyond me why people waste their God given brains and talents and let their lives go to pot.

Well, I didn't necessarily dislike school, but I did look at it as 90% social and 10% education, which is probably how all kids see it. I am a middle school teacher now, and I feel like accepting this fact helps me level with my students a lot more. I see them getting their hearts broken and losing firends and crying everyday. I always tell them that I will never tell them to just ignore what's going on (which is what most adult advice consists of) because I am young enough to know that is not possible. I do, however, try to tell them that whatever is going on today, they will not even remember by the time they get to high school. And whatever happens in high school will not matter to them when they get to college. Honestly, middle school is BRUTAL, high school gets a lot better, and college is the best time of your life :-)

Actually I went to school at three separate times....all were enjoyable

K-12 was cool because all your friends were there plus the new ones you made each year. I still hang with a lot of those friends

College was a great time. Of course you were learning what you wanted, but it was the first time away from home...which I loved. You really get a sense of who you are when you have to fend for yourself....not just eating, but rent, doing laundry...and bailing yourself out of trouble...LOL....and made friends there I still talk to.

I went to college again for a certification. This was for a job. It was OK, the students were all in the same field, so you got a LOT out of the courses, not just from the teachers. But since everyone was married...and of course a lot older...there wasn't too much buddying up.....

I have always loved school but was sometimes stressed by what is today known as "performance anxiety". I loved school but sometimes cried about it.

I still take university classes periodically but choose mainly courses I like as there aren't any that I "Have" to take anymore. I love school especially writing, literature, music or any of "THE ARTS". I still get "Math Anxiety" and am miserable in all Math classes...I'm an educated, hardworking person but I still don't get high level math classes...anything over basic college algebra frightens me! Love school though and always been relatively successful at it....A's and B's.

I hated school with a passion. I was always getting into trouble. The only reason that I graduated was because no one thought that I could do it. I never went to college, and I have a very good job, but now I wish I had applied myself more. There's a lesson in here somewhere.

School is the best! I live out in the country, so it's the only way that I can go see my friends.

Nope. I hated not being able to learn at my own pace. I only liked the socializing. Now that I have a job, I'm still waiting for other people to finish their jobs so I can finish mine! I really need to start my own business. I hate to wait.
