ANyone else disappointed with the TV series thats currently showing on Sky in the UK. Not a patch on the books, eh?? and where is Harry's Black Dustercoat??

I have been enjoying the Dresden Files although I have never read the books.
My opinion on having the show be exactly like the book is this.
If it was exactly like the book and you read the book why would you watch the show? You would most likely get bored after the first couple of episode because you already know what is going to happen. There for it is in the better interest of the producers to stray from the book.
If you are disappointed with this series you should check out "Special Unit 2" they fight Werewolves, Gargoyles etc... watch a couple of episodes of this and you will love "The Dresden Files".
Give it a chance.

Hi, I always find the series are never as good as the original books, but saying that, I quite like the TV show, Its early days yet lets give it a chance.

I've never read the books..but I've watched two episodes of the show.. And I'm so not impressed. Bad acting, bad storylines.etc etc..
Won't be watching the show again.
