Seriously folks. One talks "left" and one talks "right" but they are all bought and paid for by the same interest groups. Neither one is sincere when they speak of religion. The only thing they are sincere about are their own careers. Besides pandering to a slightly different constituency, is there anything to distinguish them?

Lessee, Republicans have "Dumbo" as a logo, Democrats have a Jackass, Similarly, both are deeply hooked by a lot of the same pacs, takes lots of $$$$$$$$$$ to win a political office -more$$ the better,Republicans stand on a Republican platform, Democrats on a Democratic platform, -- Things in their favor, Republicans have the Iraq mess, Democrats don't. Democrats have Hillary, Republicans don't.

Democrats come out as gay, and Republicans hide the fact they're gay and go on nationwide media blitzes denouncing gay people.
What I mean to say is - yes.
Democrats and Republicans disagree on certain basic principles: taxation, social programs, and certain value choices. Other than that, they're all as corrupt as any other politician - and thus all suck.

No, you don't. Don't go comparing Democrats and liberals with pathetic "New Republic Republicans" who wanted to change the US into a fascist regime. See where those policies get us? The US is run like a failed corporation. Even the British are fleeing! It's time get back to serving the common man! Let Republicans take the blame for the whole sordid mess!

Not much. The platforms are radically different, but not politicians. In fact, I doubt the politicians ever read the party platforms.

Not any more. Both sides refuse to stand behind their so called beliefs. They end up watering them down to the point neither side is happy. Politicians used to be called statesmen, I wonder why that changed?!

The people liberal and democrat are very different,but I agree this move to the center for both parties just cloud the issues.What are we supposed to do our politicians say one thing ,and do another.Moderates are another word for useless.

Democrats: More government, increased taxes, pro-choice,
Gay rights, anti-military, all exude hate, liberal on most everything,
constant complainers especially on election day, anti-family,
pro-feminist, and most are flip-floppers and anti-Christian.
Republicans: Less government, pro-life, anti Gay, pro-military,
conservative on most things, traditional family lovers, preserve
most traditional upbringings, anti-drugs, preserve the American
flag, preserve Christmas and other Christian holidays, and most are patriotic.
This should help you see the difference in "left Democrats" and
"right Republicans".
