i went home for two wks,and honestly i was scared everytime i looked at the news.i mean i love trinidad to death but thats jus too much of crime for a small island like that.what do u think?

I totally agree. I know that some Trinidadians are afraid to go home because of this ( not me eh!). But the kidnapping seem to be drug related. I believe if you are not involved in that, you should be safe. It is the drug traffic that is ruining the country I adore.

The situation is ridiculous and I do believe some of it is drug related... but unfortunately there's also a lot of businesses affected. The country at this time is booming, it is a great time to own a business but because of the kidnapping it can make you think twice and it is putting a hamper on entrepreneurial growth. The state of the crime situation is almost like what the USA experienced with mobsters back in the day. I love my country where I was born and I know with prayer...and with action from both the Government and citizens...it will change.
