I've lived in Baltimore (near Washington DC) and in Texas. DC is in the eastern time zone and TX is in the central, so you have one hour of difference. Houston is an hour earlier.

It is a 1 hour difference. DC is in the Eastern Time Zone, and Houston is in the Central Time Zone. So, from the eastern time zone to the central time zone, you subtract the one in the east by 1 to get the central time.

DC is eastern standard time, Houston is central standard time. The difference is one hour. Moving west the next time zone would be mountain standard time, two hours difference, then pacific standard time, three hours difference.

I am going to say about 1-2 hrs. Used to live in Ohio and between Ohio and Texas it was 1 hour. So I would just say 1 hour.

ex: if its 9:00pm in Washington D.C.
it is 8:00pm in Houston,Texas

so a 1 hour time difference
