my thought is that it only becomes a gateway drug because people are forced to purchase it illegally on the black market from the same individuals who sell cocaine, acid, meth, heroin, etc. should the government legalize and control the sale of marijuana, the exposure to other drugs would be minimalized.

answer no. 1: is that your perception? you're obviously ignorant and closed minded. I am neither a hippie or a loser. I have held my current job for more than 12 years. no, it is not burger flipping. I do rather well. why should the government tell me what I can & cannot do in the privacy of my own home?
