for attempting to get pregnant? I am currently taking my temperature and charting it; does anyone have another good method to use for tracking ovulation?

Cervical mucous (consistency, colour, amount), cervical positioning (high or low) and whether or not your cervix hard or soft, open or closed.

Try Fertility Friend to record it all online.

Buy the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler, I have it, it's like the bible of conception or contraception lol!

On Fertility Friend (it's free to join) you can chart all the above, plus any other symptoms you have, when you "do it", when you have your periods etc. It shows you when you are likely to have ovulated, and over time gives you ovulation prediction dates based on previous months.

Make sure you take your temperature at exactly the same time every day, before you get out of bed.

Ovulation prediction kits are ok, but they can get very expensive, and if you are out by a few days you end up having to buy twice as many.

I have used this technique both to conceive and avoid pregnancy.

Yes, go to www.maybebaby.com.au (australian version) however other countries have them too. It costs about $75.00 but is well worth it as it can be resued over and over. It pinpoints exactly when you are ovulating by testing the progesterone in your saliva. It's amazing and takes all the guess work out of it. I couldn't be bothered with all the charting either. It is money well spent. Good luck!!!!! :-)

i use this siliva scope made by maybe mom

Use MOM daily for results you can clearly see in minutes — No messy urine test needed. By monitoring daily, you can determine your actual time of being fertile 1-2 days before ovulation for best family planning!

good luck and happy baby making
hope this helps
