I have no clue.
You know how futball is overseas is.... More competitive, and more drama. Maybe something personal happened behind closed doors. Just like real madrid benched beckham for the rest of the season after he signed with the L.A. Galaxy.
Or maybe Robben did something out of conduct and is being punished?

This season Robben might be the one to go out of the team if Special One continues with his 4-1-2-1-2 formation compared to his 4-3-2-1 formation where not only AR but also SWP would fit in with Ballack and Lamps playing in the Left and Right centre midfielders.
Being my fave player, Robben has been made an out and out Striker alongside Drogba when Sheva was not performing well but as he is always a BIG victim of injuries, Jose is (I think) hesitating to pley him on the wide sides to really give nightmares to defence (against Wigan!)

He's been playing since he's been fit from his ankle injury. He's scored at least one goal and had balls deflected in as own goals in the past two matches he's played. In the Champions League match at Porto today Mourinho was going to replace Terry with Mikel, but Porto scored in the interim, so he went with Robben instead. Robben went straight onto the field and didn't have a chance to warm up and stretch. He strained a muscle and although he wanted to try to go after the half, Mourinho decided to keep him out because of the League Cup final on Sunday. Chelsea can't afford any more big injuries, especially since it looks like Terry will be out Sunday, Ashley Cole may not be ready to go, and Boula is going to be out about three weeks if his shoulder holds.

Robben does not fit into the midfield system for Chelski right now, though he does feature as a sub.
I also have to say Robben is not half as he was when he first started to play for Chelsea. His game has gone downhill.

Jose DID play Robben last night and he got injured. That's why Mikel came on.

What the hell are you guys talking about the guy has been injured all season, then he comes back from injury only to get injured again and then the same thing and then the same thing happens today at Porto.
