Why isnt the fact that 90% of all crimes in major cities are commited by blacks against blacks and that 90% of fellons in jail are black.

Black women have highest illegetimate child rates, they are left with the burden of raising children and account for well over 60% of the nations welfare payments, even though blacks only comprise 10% of the populaton.

My question basically is why isnt the real history of the last 20 or so years put right on the table for everyone to see instead of that fake horn tooting.

Im a mullato so I dont have any ax to grind here, just pointing out the fake in Black History Month.

Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk.

i'll explain it to you what it means, cuz you probably don't understand it.

It means: talk is cheap, but can you follow through with action? It is similiar to: don't let your mouth write a check that your a** can't cash

Please ignore all the ignorant white people who obviously know not what they speak of. Those exact same percentages have been used for years and I mean the EXACT SAME. Those percentages are not accurate whatsoever and please don't give me a link to a site because I'm 100% whoever wrote the article is racist. If you go on sites such as Stormfront or other white supremacist sites they make up this bull and the members take it in as fact because it demeans the black culture further just making the white culture appear better. Most crime in America is committed by Black Americans and that is true. If the population is only 10% (I'm positive you got this from a racist site seeing as the percentage has risen since then) it is not possible for them to commit 90% of the crime because that would mean they would be committing a crime every hour? Well Mullato boy you need to make sure you get your facts from a government approved website first before posting this kind of ignorant hogwash.

I think its a case of the Blacks needing an uplift. Kind of like "well we are sorry for you" so lets give you a special month to toot your horn and make you feel good.

I think the history of blacks in America is too much tied to the Black heritage, what about their White heritage here in their genes too? They all know that they have that too, and I d like to see that emphasized too. Properly recognized that Black/White tie in the genes would make for an inseperable bond.

I think Black people know way too well the ills that plague them. But I also know that you are not a product of your environment, you can rise above it, you just have to be the one to do it.
Blacks have contributed a lot to this country. They have been doctors, scientist, lawyers, educators, inventors, and have paved the road for those young black women and men of today to also achieve these same things. But they had to over come a lot of racism and hard times to do this, these people struggled.
What saddens me is this, I do not understand why, when a black women or a black man becomes educated and does all the right things and fulfills his or her dream why other blacks want to see them fall on their face. I don't understand that. Education is power. Martin Luther had a dream and it was not too see blacks fail and not to succeed, he wanted better for everyone.
Black history should not be something that is taught only in Feb. but needs to be integrated into history.
You do not have to become a part of your environment, you don't have to live in the ghetto and die in the ghetto, you don't have to be an unwed mother on section 8 and food stamps. You don't have to be a drug dealer, you don't have to live that thug life, but people choose to live that life and it's a dead end life. We should want more for ourselves and our kids.

But see here's the thing, I had already heard about all of that BEFORE Black History Month so what do I gain by learning it now? Being that there are so many negative things put out about black people, why should I look at the negative of my people that I see and hear all the time and not for one month look at the good?

Answer that and then we can really get the ball rollig

There's even more you don't know.
I'd like to know why lawyers and the family of MLK had the FBI file on him legally closed to the public for (50-75 years(?)). Am not sure of the length of time--but why?

it's not fake horn tooting, it is important that these accomplishments be recognized, and yes, in any group that has been abused over generations, there will be a difficult transitional period, it will be a period in history most do not want to acknowledge because it is understood that there will be problems overcoming anger and continuing social injustice.

All humans know it's impossible for them to have a history since they are the ONLY race of people on earth never to have even developed a written language. In addition to that, that list of inventions they trot out every year is totally bogus and everyone knows it. I think it's just like giving false praise to a retarded child. It just gives a failed race a sense of worth even though everyone knows they don't deserve it.
