I would suggest getting out as much as you can. As it is probably not harmful to her at this age, it is probably harmful to YOU and YOUR sanity. Take her for a walk. Go to the mall and walk around. Take her on small grocery shopping trips. Pack a lunch and take her for a picnic at a park or somewhere.

That is fine for a baby so young. Just make sure you interact with her. She just needs to see your face and a few toys at this stage. She won't be able to see like an adult until around 8 months old. Spend time talking to her, making cute faces at her, showing her toys and bright pictures in baby books. In another month or so she should enjoy looking into mirrors and out of the window - even though she won't be able to see far. She will be happy and won't realize she never left the room.
Be careful taking such a young baby out too many public places in the winter when people have colds - you don't want to end up with a sick baby, but taking a short walk on a warmer day (bundled up well) would be nice.

I don't think it will hinder progress or harm her in any way though she may be better off in te long run to be introduced to new environments. Even if that means taking her for a half hour walk everyday and giving her a different view. Its better for her, I think, to see new things and new people. Babies at her age are fascinated by the outdoors, as well as new faces. Good Luck

As long as she isn't just laying there in a crib or sitting in a car carrier all the time. She should be playing and for 2 months that would be interaction with you and toys, tummy time. Things like that and she'll be just fine.

was in exactly the same position when my lad was born, i made sure that he wasnt just in his crib, that he had lots of cuddles and "played" with toys... i.e something fun and colourful to catch his eye... i tried to ensure i got him out for a walk in his pushchair at least once a day for fresh air and a change of scenery, and also for my own sanity!!
he is a well adjusted 4 year old now, it did no harm to him whatsoever!

At 2 months, it is not a problem. Can you take her out for a walk every day though?
