Although you may find it hard to believe, I am a white jew that lived in Jamaica for a long time. As I learned the culture I began to know many Rastafarians. What is the Rastafarian distribution throughout the Caribbean? Meaning, how many Rastas live in Trinidad, Jamaica, Haiti, and throughout the world. Thanks and keep irie.

OK. I wasnt looking for criticism. Actually there are Jewish communities near Kingston and a white community called Seaford Town in Montego Bay.

According to a University of Virginia website there are about 1 million Rastafari world wide. I don't know about the Caribbean distribution, but there are about 5000-6000 in the U.S.

There are few that really practice the right way and is into the culture but you have others that just have dreads but are not really rastas, so you have to be careful when jumping to conclusions. For example some white people have dreads and they are not rastas as they do not practice it.
