Almost all the time there is a much bigger story the media doesn't want you to know about. If they didn't make something big headline news, then the story they don't want people to hear about will become big news. For example, we heard about O.J. Simpson for six solid months. How many times have we heard about Michael Jackson? How long did we hear about Kobe Bryant which turned out to be he paid the girl off big time. Yeah they would rather make up false stories about Michael Jackson then to print the real stories because that's what sells newspapers!!

you're right, there are stories lately that get so much airtime(death of anna nicole smith) to air the really important ones, like what's going on in and around your area.

People just think that the popular people will make them more money so they print that...its really annoying!
