For me, honour and respect are paramount. Without respect for yourself and others (real respect, not the kind you get from customer service people) I think relationships are wasted and you are an incomplete person. Honour is something that stems from respect and shows in how you treat others and yourself.

Wow. Scary how much I'm seeing 'money' as a driving factor. It really isn't on top of the list for me - hence I don't have much. But at least I can look at myself in the mirror and know that, though I've had to seek money, I haven't done it at the expense of what I really value.

That sounds really noble but money is the key driver in the vast majority of adults. Everything else comes secondary.
