As much as I detest his actions and the fact that he's a puppet for the rich and powerful and the fact that he's marginally retarded, I would like to believe that we live in a more civilized nation than some others that go about removing their elected leaders through assassinations (OK, OK... I know there ARE doubts on whether he WAS "elected" fair and square with those phoney election results in Florida and the rigged electronic voting machines in several states in 2004).
I would much prefer that that our other elected officials grew a testicles and defied him on his tyrannical actions and his attempts to chip away at our Constitution... I blame the rest of the members of both houses for that... they whimped out or have been bought off by the super rich and powerful!
EDITED: mark j, you're totally wrong and really off base... Liberals are not like some Texicans Rodeo Clowns that send troops to kill and bomb... we believe in something called diplomacy, and we also believe in the Constitution... like your right to your opinion and your right to be wrong. We don't believe we should be disregarding parts of the Constitution or long established laws whenever these cause inconveniences. We also don't believe in acting like our enemies or our adversaries... maybe Cons believe in assassinations but we do NOT!

On one hand, i'm stunned Bush hasn't been impeached. He lied approximately commencing a warfare. Clinton became impeached for mendacity approximately an affair. i might have theory commencing wars became a lot greater extreme offense than having affairs, yet then Republicans do have screwed up morals. on the different hand, i'm no longer stunned. 2 words: President Cheney.

You give the perfect example of why Bush has not been assasinated. The Liberal Bush haters are all talk and no action. The first time they were slapped in the face with reality in Congress, they decided to do a pointless debate about a resolution that is doing nothing but wasting time. I guess this is an attempt to get the voters to think they are doing something.

Tell us how you *really* feel, Nancy :-)
I'm not surprised nobody has tried to assassinate him, because that's such a huge and awful thing for anyone to do. I think we'd need more clear-cut crimes than his infringements on the Constitution (after all, Congress voted in the Patriot Act) to impeach him, as well. I wish we had a system that could call for a vote of No Confidence, though.

Am I surprised? I'm bloody well bewildered why he's still breathing.
Although I agree with most of your thoughts, I would not like to see the half-wit shot or killed. Bush deserves to experience what thousands of American and Iraqi parents have to deal with; the death of a child due to this 'war on terror'.
I have no idea what the moron's children are called, however, I would NOT be surprised if I was to learn either one or both have been killed.

At least this isn't Iraq 2003 and you weren't writing this about the that leader. You'd be dead. In Bush's America you can say this and eat quiche when your done. Doesnt sound too bad to me.

Bush did not plan 911, he may have invited it but did not plan it.
wether saddam had WMDs or not he did need to be taken out. personaly i would have just taken away the law that says the CIA can not assanate people and then had the CIA assanate him.

No. Dick Cheney doesn't want the job anyway so why bother? Besides, who do you really think would be more likely to commit murder than Dick Cheney?
Besides, would you really want Dick Cheney for president?
Please see my question below. I need answers.
