I've never been to a concert in my life. My sister got free tickets to see My Chemical Romance in Cardiff and I'm going too. I don't know what to wear, do you wear smart clothes or just a pair of jeans and a t shirt. I'm a bit clueless to be honest! Do you dance around like a maniac when you're there or what?

it's going to be packed out with screaming MCR fans. and most of them will be wearing 'goth' style clothing - mostly in red / black / purple. if in doubt, go look at the MCR website, and look at the band themselves. also try to see if there are any related sites that show pics of other fans. i guess u could wear jeans and a t-shirt, but u are gonna look totally different from 99% of all the people there if u wear bright colours or high street fashion clothing. and yes, they will all probably be singing / dancing / screaming & jumping around, so be prepared to be deafened !!! hope u realise that u are lucky to have those tickets, i know loads of people (myself included) who would love the chance to see them, but can't go. hope u have loads of fun.

Well, I went to my first concert in October, and I was freakin out about what to wear, too. I don't really know why though, because it was the Rolling Stones.. I ended up wearing sneakers,(which I would def. suggest, especially if you'll be standing up) jeans, and a t-shirt and a hoodie. It was outside, so it was hot at first, but then it got cold so I was glad to have brought the hoodie. Anyways, I wore an oversized t-shirt (like the ones you get from school) and i kind of wish I would've worn a cooler one, so... I'd say to be comfortable, but look cute too.

Don't forget your purse either, cuz stuff at concerts are outrageously expensive!!!

lol, since it is chemical romance get you a pair of holly jeans and a cute black top and some cute shoes. You can never go wrong with black...most of the kids there will be wearing like punk clothes. And yeah, if u are over age you can drink yourself into a state of dancing like a maniac! lol!

Aww wicked my sister is taking my son to see them in cardiff as well ... I have been to loads of concerts and just go casual and comfy !! As long as u u feel comfortable u will be fine and no u dont have to dance like a maniac if u dont want too ... u will see ppl from all walks of life there !! Honest... Have fun !!

Well since it's a My Chemical Romance concert I think you should wear something comfortable. Definately not something smart or formal as people may just laugh at you.
About the dancing, people may mosh there, but I'd just say jump around or put your arms in the air and clap or something.

Ok..
Just wear a black tanktop and some hot tight jeans. Guys love it when girls or out like that..
Don't wear a thong or too much make up either..
when your dancing people can see the thong and when you sweat your make up will smear.
Make sure your jeans arent TOO tight, if they're too tight theres no way you can dance.
OH yes.
The shoes...
Make sure your shoes are some tight shoes..
Converse black&white will work.

Considering it's my chemical romance, I would say jeans and a cute top. People will dance around probably so be prepared. Most people do not stay seated.

Jeans and a t-shirt and tennis shoes or other comfy shoes is great. Lots of dancing and if you wear skirts or low cut tops guys will be putting there hands where they don't belong. You will have a great time!!!

if in the day time wear casual clothing, if evening or night wear more formal, dependingon the venue, a coat and tie might be more appropiate or similar for the really nicely dressed lady.
We did Starlite Express in the afternoon, dressed coat and tie, the Americans next to us wore jean and tee's
